The Blacklist star Neil Patrick Gillis is expected to star in a new movie adaptation of Noel Fisher Price’s novel.
Gillis will play a CIA agent in the movie, which is slated to be released in the fall of 2019.
The actor is set to star opposite Jennifer Garner, who will play an ex-CIA agent who takes a job with a private detective agency in a small town.
Garner was first rumored to be in the film, but sources told The Hollywood Reporter that the actress had changed her mind.
The actress had previously been cast as the agent’s boss in the 2017 movie, but had then dropped out of the project.
The character was not included in the script.
The film is based on Price’s novella The Black List, and will take place in a dystopian world.
The book is set in the future where a mysterious virus has killed off humanity, with the CIA acting as a government agency.
The Black List was published in the 1980s and has sold over 3 million copies.
